Have mercy upon us. Grant us peace. For the unbearable toil of our sinful world, we plead for remission. For the terror of absence from our beloved, we plead for your comfort. For the scandalous presence of death in your creation, we plead for the resurrection. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world. Have mercy upon us. Grant us peace. Come, Holy Spirit, and heal all that is broken in our lives, in our streets, and in our world. + In the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Started online and on Twitter it began with 20 acts of kindness for the children killed in Newtown, CT and quickly grew to 26 and 28 Acts of Kindness to include all those who died. In memory of all of those who died and in the spirit of the Gospels, pledge to do 28 Acts of Random Kindness in the coming weeks. Spirit of energy and change,
in whose power Jesus was anointed to be the hope of the nations; be poured out also upon us without reserve or distinction, that we may have confidence and strength to plant your justice on the earth, through Jesus Christ, Amen. Our fellowship participated in the annual TSSF Retreat that was held at Little Portion April 12 - Sunday 14, 2013. It was led by Terry Rogers and gave us time in quiet but also sufficient time to catch up with tertiaries we haven't seen in a while as well as our First Order brothers. On March 2nd we participated in a quiet day at St James the Less with our brothers from The Brotherhood of St Gregory. We had a wonderful day that included lunch with Bishop Michael as well as a tour of the St James School and property. How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! Ps 133 |
